Windows 7 License : KMS vs MAK
Our technician already deploy Windows 7 in our campus.
They try Windows 7 in 3 PC that met Windows 7 requirement and test it for every software that installed in Windows Vista and after 3 days testing we have conclusion.
Every software installed in Windows Vista is compatible with Windows 7.
Some management and biro want to migrate from Vista to Windows 7 and they request for License key.
Our technician give the key but when they want to activate error message shown telling for invalid license key.
After see the issue and previous solution I think they give wrong license key. They must give MAK ( mutiple activation key) as default key that I give at first time in the form Key Management Service (KMS).

KMS isn’t the same as MAK, KMS license key will permit only a few box activation while KMS key will work depend on ‘available’ activations as seen on the picture.
0/500, it means no activation made so far.
Conclusion :
Give MAK key for multiple activation and contact Microsoft Activation Center to increase the limit in case you need more box to activate.
