Prevent Windows from Connecting to a Wireless Network Automatically

I prefer to choose my own hotspot connection. Specially when I have ‘more’ free connection :-)

By default a wifi connection will bond the connection in automatic mode. With this feature every time you laptop/netbook in the range you’ll connect to the connection.

Little tips to choose wifi connection manually :

Right click on wifi connection, in this case ‘digitalfusi’ has internet access and ready to serve.

Choose Properties.

By default you will get ‘security’ tab.

Change to ‘connection‘ tab.

Uncheck ‘connect automatically when this network is in range‘.

Click OK.
