How to open .pls file on Windows 7
New radiocast stream available for listen. My friend ask me to try their radio live streaming that scheduled for soft opening.
Honestly I don’t know how to open live streaming on my Windows 7 but I think I’ll use W indow Media Player (WMP) .
I open the .pls address on firefox and since firefox don’t know how to open the file I get this page.
I choose Helper Application ‘windows media player’
Woa. WMP seem don’t know what application needed to open .pls file.
Being curious I choose ‘YES’
Unfortunately WMP cannot play the file. Click Close button.
Short research with google lead me to Open PLS. I decide to give this software a try.
Click Next.
I choose to install to C:\Program Files\OpenPlsInWMP
Click Install button will let install wizard work till finish.
Re try to open the file.
I choose OpenPlsInWMP
Click OK , connection problem pop up show in my case. After click OK I can hear radio live streaming with my Windows 7.
Wow, its cool to see that you can broadcast your radio show around the world with live streaming.
