How to install hard drive monitor on windows 7

Losing data is one of problem that make me loosing mood. My friend who work as web designer recently ask for my help if I can rescue his data from his hard drive. Its 200 GB HD that store all his work plus photo family that very valuable. I also ever lost data because of HD failure.

My question is simple.

How do we know if our HD is in ‘danger’ condition?

Surf the net give me clue about SMART and lead me to some software that offer solution to monitor your HD for free.

I have download one of that application and want to share about how to install hard drive monitoring software in my Windows 7 professional edition.

Download HD monitor Software

Click here to download latest version.

Double click installation software to start install.

Choose “Install Acronis Drive Monitor”

Click Next

Accept terms of agreement and click Next.

Select installation folder.

By default it will install at C:\Program Files\Acronis

Click Next.

View summary of the operations to perform.

Click Install when you’re ready to install.

Click Back if you want to change other setting.

Installer will work copy the file, set registry etc.

When everything run successfully You’ll see this.

Click Close.

Access start menu and you’ll see new program.
