How to burn .iso file to CD / DVD

With so many file type no wonder if my friend give me a cd containing one file that actually must burn with special treatment. The file extension is .iso file.

I’ve download latest ubuntu iso file and give him link to our local ftp server and blank CD. After go back from home after lunch I asked him about the CD and he gave it to me.

Yes, single file iso inside the CD.

Well, I teach him how to use an easy to use software for burning .iso file to CD / DVD without worry to make a mistake.

Here the steps :

1. Download deepburner software here.

2. Install like usual windows software.

3. Run it from start program

click Next.

4. Browse location of iso file.

Choose a file by click its name followed by click Open button.

Image file will get update as show in the picture :

J:\ubuntu folks\ubuntu-9.04-desktop-i386.iso

Write speed, some people suggest 24X.

When everything ready make sure you insert blank CD/DVD before click ‘Burn ISO‘.

Write process will begin, depend on how big the file is and your computer speed.

Leave it for while, drink a coffe would be nice :-)

5. Checking if it work, open windows explorer and see the content of the CD.
